Hi there! I’m Megan, and I am excited for the chance to learn more about you and your learning needs.

I graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University in 2016; while there, I double-majored in diplomacy and philosophy, and minored in Asian studies. As an undergraduate student, my favorite classes were those that empowered me to use my voice. I was especially inspired by the professors who emphasized giving their students the skills necessary to speak and be heard, and I hope to bring that same philosophy of empowerment to the students I tutor.

After graduating college, I worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Kinmen, Taiwan. I loved the opportunity to work directly with elementary school students learning English as a second language, and I provided both classroom instruction and individual tutoring in English speaking, reading and writing.

I also recently graduated from law school, with awards for oral advocacy, written advocacy, and public speaking. As a law student, I tutored my peers in competitive public speaking and in legal writing. I also worked closely with clients in clinics to help them learn the complex ideas behind their legal rights. As a tutor, I hope to use the same strategies to empower you to break down complex and difficult topics, and to then use them as a tool to succeed.

I would love the opportunity to work with you, and to turn these challenging subjects into tools for your future success! I would be happy to work online or in person, to provide academic tutoring, essay proofreading or even college application essay advice. I hope to hear from you soon!

Megan is awesome for Law students!!

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about Megan. She taught me more in an hour then one of my professors has in two months. I have a very confusing project involving writing and research and she helped me understand it and made it very easy to grasp. She is very knowledgeable, down to earth, patient, AND is excited to help as much as she can. I will use her in the future and you should too.
