  • Sweetened Condensed Milk:Similar to the white chocolate, the sweetened condensed milk provides a decadent texture as well as a sticky thick adhesive that helps hold the fudge bars together.
  • Vanilla Extract:Every great chocolate dish, whether it’s white, milk or dark, has to include vanilla extract for the enhancement of the chocolate flavor.
  • Dried Cranberries:The flavor of the dried cranberries will make you think you’re eating fresh cranberries when combined with the moisture of the other ingredients.

In The Fridge

Place your fudge in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to a week. You could take it a step further by wrapping each square in plastic wrap before putting them in the container.

What Recipe Variations Can I Make?

  • Pistachio:Create a white chocolate cranberry pistachio fudge by mixing in chopped pistachios to add a little crunch. This is both delicious and visually appealing!
  • Orange Zest:Cranberry and orange is a classic flavor combination enjoyed by many. Sprinkle some orange zest around the top of the fudge to add beautifully vibrant color and flavor to your fudge. You could also mix it in the fudge for a delicious orange flavor in there as well.

Can I Use Fresh Cranberries Instead of Dried?

I recommend using dried cranberries in the fudge because fresh cranberries have a higher water content, which affects the texture of the fudge. Dried cranberries add a chewy and sweet element without introducing excess moisture.

Another reason why using dried cranberries is better is because those are sweetened and if you use regular fresh, uncooked cranberries you will find them to be a lot more tart.

This looks so simple yet delicious I have all the ingredients at home already! Except I have the white almond bark instead of the chocolate chips so I would like to know what’s the substitution ratio for the almond bark to the chocolate chips! I want to make it right away so hoping to get the reply soon pretty please! TIA!

Unfortunately I have only made these with white chocolate and not almond bark. I think you could substitute it 1:1 but I am not completely sure since I haven’t done that yet.

I would recommend using the same amount of almond bark as I used white chocolate and start with about 2/3 of the amount of sweetened condensed milk and assess if your fudge needs more.

When you mix the two together, the fudge mixture needs to thicken up as you mix. So aim for that!

Please let us know how it turns out as I am sure a lot of people would love to know how your version turns out.
