How to Host a Taylor Swift Eras Birthday Party (2024)
Birthday, Life ·
Want to host a Taylor Swift Eras Birthday Party? It can be a fun and memorable way to celebrate any Swiftie’s birthday milestone. Here are some steps to help you plan a spectacular Taylor Swift themed birthday party for kids.
It’s no surprise our ten year old loves Taylor Swift since the majority of the world loves T.S.. What makes Annabelle’s love for her extra special is they share the same birthday – December 13! There are plenty of ways to have a Taylor Swift themed birthday, but I thought an “eras theme” is the best way to celebrate Annabelle turning TEN! Double digits is a new era right?
Annabelle and her guests dressed up to represent their favorite Taylor Swift era. The Birthday Girl wore this custom shirt (and dressed as the same era for Halloween). They sang and danced while watching the Eras concert. We played Taylor Swift Trivia and Swifties won red lipstick, sunglasses, and Eras friendship bracelets. Then all the girls did her best Taylor pose in front of the glitter wall for the Polaroid camera. During dinner the girls found the coolest Taylor Swift stickers (only $10 for 100!) at her place setting. Over tacos and juice, the Swifties could trade stickers and talk about Taylor. After a brownie sundae bar we opened presents and sent the Swifties on their way home. Overall, the party was a smashing success!
There is no right or wrong way to host an eras party – it’s easy! I’m going to share how I planned Annabelle’s Taylor Swift Eras Birthday Party in case you want to have one too!
Create Invitations: Design and send out invitations to party guests. The easiest form of birthday invitation is a paperless post or Facebook event! I use Canva to create digital invitations and text it to guests.
Decorationsand Ambiance: Decorate the party area with any of these Taylor Swift Eras decorations. Streamers, balloons, posters, stickers, etc. – anything rainbow, glitter, and Taylor Swift will work!
Food and Refreshments: Taylor’s favorite food is chicken fingers (with ranch) if you want to really stick to a Swiftie theme. However Annabelle loves tacos, so we had DIY taco bar for dinner and brownie sundae bar for dessert. Use shimmer cups for drinks and disco ball plates.
Set up a photo wall: If your guests dress to impress you must capture the moment! Grab a Polaroid camera and do your best Taylor Swift pose in front of a DIY shimmer wall.
Favors: Red Lipstick and Friendship Bracelets are the best favors for a Taylor Swift party! During trivia guests could pick an Eras Bracelet and red lipstick as a prize for a correct answer. Other fun favors: sunglasses, nail polish, stickers, etc.
Paint your nails different colors to signify Taylor’s 10 albums: soft green for “Taylor Swift,” gold for “Fearless,” deep purple for “Speak Now,” red for “Red,” bright blue for “1989,” black for “Reputation,” pink with hearts for “Lover,” pale purple for “Folklore,” pastel yellow for “Evermore,” and sparkly turquoise for “Midnights.”
